F'you Pinterest Stew
This recipe's great-great bastard grandfather was a pinterest recipe, but the original is so bad and this version is so good that really, they're only kind of related and don't even attend the same family reunions anymore.

Seriously, the original had no ingredient amounts listed and tasted like boiled cardboard. My version is measured, delicious, and all-around superior.

And faster. Way, way faster. Enjoy!

F'you Pinterest Stew

1 lb turkey Italian sausage, removed from the casings and crumbled
1 onion, coarse-chopped

2 cups chicken broth
13-oz bag frozen cheese tortellini
42.5 oz Italian-style diced tomatoes, with juices (I use 1 28-oz can and 1 14.5-oz can)

1 15-oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 6-oz bag raw baby spinach
8 oz Neufchatel cheese (cream cheese might work too, but it's worse for you)
1 tsp parsley
2 tsp oregano
2 tsp basil
1/4 tsp sage
1/4 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp red pepper
1/2 tsp black pepper
Four shakes salt

- Chop the onion and remove the meat from its casings. I would also mix the spices together into a small dish at this point, to save time later.
- In a big ol' stewpot over medium heat, cook the meat and onion together until the meat's mostly browned.
- Add broth, tomatoes, and tortellini. Heat until it starts to boil.
- Once that's simmering/boiling/whatever, add in the beans, spinach, cheese, and spices.
- Stir it around to get the cheese dispersed (it thickens the entire mess).
- Simmer 10 minutes. We ate ours with Italian bread - quite tasty that way, really.
